This 320 amp large case Elite series Hairpin alternator cranks out an impressive 200+ amps at idle with 320 plus amps at cruising speed - HOT RATED !! That means that you can expect this output at normal 200 degree F operating temp. These alternators are totally durable for daily / industrial use, and feature (12) massive diodes and a huge finned rectifier heat sink for excellent cooling. Please note - this unit has the standard oval shaped alternator plug as used on most 1996-2004 GM vehicles. If this alternator is being used on a custom installation or multiple alternator installation, please order MechMan part number: P101 single wire alternator pigtail for easy installation. NOTE: This is an open-box special. While the unit has never been installed, there may be minor smudges/scratches on the unit from handling/shipping. The packaging will also show signs of handling.
